CHAPLAINCY

Missio Mosaic provides chaplaincy endorsement through the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) for those affiliated with our churches and ministries. Missio Mosaic provides the fellowship and accountability for chaplains while the NAE provides the official endorsement (through our sponsorship). Candidates for endorsement must pass a thorough process that includes a background check, multiple interviews, agreement with vision and doctrine, and training. The primary difference for those chaplains sponsored by Missio Mosaic through the NAE is that we work within our chaplaincy to promote the vision and work that we believe God has called us to. Our chaplains know they are joining an order of chaplains that support them and provide ongoing shepherding and coaching.

The work of Missio Mosaic chaplains is unique among the ministry of chaplaincy. If you feel God leading you to serve in chaplaincy, please contact us for an initial interview. The overall process is the following:

1. Initial contact and interview
2. Application packet sent
3. Interview with a Missio Mosaic pastor or lead person
4. Period of discernment
5. Interview with National Association of Evangelicals
5. Sponsorship established
6. Background check completed
7. Official endorsement offered

Please allow 3-6 months for the completed process. This does not include time needed for other processes of chaplaincy which may run parallel to the endorsement process, such as military commissioning.
